Scott Calvo De Oro Needs Our Help

Oscar Calvo De Oro, also known as Scott, is 57 years old. He is a “Little Person” living in Sinajana, Guam. In addition to his dwarfism, Oscar also suffers from severe chronic scoliosis, hypertension, liver cirrhosis, gout, and multiple osteoarthritis conditions. Due to these medical impairments, Oscar’s activities are very limited and requires assistance in most areas of his daily life. His medical condition is permanent and very limited.

This past year Oscar has faced additional medical challenges. His upper spine was shaved and adjusted to help correct his posture and body motions. Scott has also been referred to further specialized spinal treatment in the Philippines. This upcoming procedure is referred to as “Expandable Cage and Posterior C-Spine Fusion”. This procedure will improve his mobility. This treatment/procedure is not provided in Guam.

It is because of Oscar’s complex medical condition and the related costs for his care that we are asking for the help of our family and friends to provide Oscar with the necessary on-going care that he so greatly needs. THANK YOU!
