Our family experienced a devastating loss yesterday. Many of you saw the news story of the house fire in Pataskala. Our cousin John who is mildly autistic lived there with his parents his entire life. Less than a year ago he found his mother passed away and since then he has ben taking care of his father after multiple strokes. Yesterday a fire broke out and he was not able to get his dad or their dog out. The firefighters (Thank you!!!!) were able to get his dad out but he has severe burns over most of his body and is not expected to make it. John is left with nothing - the house is gone. We are working with red cross but he could use any help anyone is able to provide.
