Be part of "TeamAngi"
In October of 2020, my beautiful friend and coworker at the age of 37, was diagnosed with stage 3b cervical cancer.
She is a single mother of a 16-year-old daughter. Lanae is a soccer player who is excited about learning to drive and the driving force for Angi...
I am asking for you to help her take her worries off finances so she can use all her energy to knock cancer out.
I think we all can agree Cancer is an opponent that she will need every ounce of her being to fight and that she should focus on her health and nothing else.
She is the sole bread winner for her family and is unable to continue to work full time due to her treatment. She took a few months off in the beginning to have her surgeries but now is working part time during her treatment.
The fact that she is back working even part time says so much about her character.
She is not going to just lay down and let cancer win.
She is the true definition of a fighter. I never hear her complain.
I never hear her feel sorry for herself.
She has faced Cancer with amazing courage grace and strength.
Focus on the fight, not the fright!
She gets to cry, scream, even punch things.
She does not get to give up.
It is not an option.
I know the financial burden must be weighing on her, but you would not be able to tell by her attitude.
If we all could give a little It will make a huge difference.
The world is a better place with her in it so let’s make sure she is here for a long time!!
Cancer started the fight.
But Angi will finish it!
Be on TeamAngi in whatever capacity you can. $5 or $500
It all helps.
Cancer touches do many of us.
Let’s make cancer hang up the gloves!
If you cannot donate financially please post some inspirational words for her to continue the fight and keep her and Lanae in your prayers.
Share her story to save a friend’s life. The best cure is early detection so ladies.
“Go check your box.”
I know life gets busy and there all lots of other things on your to do list but it is important.
It could save your life.
Thank you for reading her story.
