Set up for cancer treatments and living expenses during treatments. As some of you may know my mom Donna Cathey-Menard had a massive stoke in 2013, my dad tried to retire to be her sole caregiver, but of course had to return to work to pay expenses that’s come with medical issues. My mom is 100% disabled but they do not qualify for any help because my dad makes just over the amount to qualify ;or they live just under the amount of travel miles you have to have to receive help. We have gone through all that already. So here we are 2020 and now my mom is battling breast cancer, and my dad is working just to pay a Hotel to stay in during months of treatments. My mom was always a contributing member of the Aransas Pass community. Crime stoppers, chamber of commerce, little league , and countless hours of volunteer work just to name a few. Now we have come to the point where all we can do is reach out to that same community and ask for help. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
