HKHS Track and Field-Heading to Nationals

After winning the State Opens with a PR of 19-01, Kedarjah Lewis qualified for Nationals. The SMR Relay; Matt Jennings, Eamon Sweeney, Kevin Cavrell, and John Kowal also qualified for Nationals, currently seeded as 3rd in the country. However, time is of the essence. Nationals begin on June 30th and it is in Eugene, Oregon.
The HKHS track and field athletes have brought such joy to the HK community. The girls and boys team placed first in the Class M state Meet. Kedarjah crushed her competition in the long jump at State Opens and Matthew Jennings and Eamon Sweeney also qualified for Nationals. The boys team placed 4th out of approximately 200 teams-our little HK team! What they have overcome during Covid is tremendous. They are dedicated student athletes and so supportive of one another.
Now it is our turn to support them. This GoFund me page will support our student athletes and coaches based on need. We need to make sure that every athlete who qualifies can go.
