We’re rallying together to support our dear cousin, Sebastián Hoyos, who was recently taken into ICE custody — despite maintaining legal status in the United States as a student.

Sebastián is more than just a name. He’s a brilliant student, a devoted friend, and someone who wholeheartedly believes in the American dream. He’s followed every rule, invested in his future, and embraced the values that make this nation great.

This sudden and unjust detention has been deeply painful for our family. We are doing everything we can to bring Sebastián home, but the legal and detention-related costs are overwhelming. Sebastián and his father are both immigrants without the financial resources to fight this battle alone.

We are asking for your help. Your donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward legal fees to defend Sebastián’s case and protect his rights. Bond costs to secure his release and other urgent needs to support him and his family during this time.
