I’m raising funds for myself and my bandmates after the tour van was broken into and stolen while I was staying at a hotel in Bakersfield. I did everything I could think of to protect my gear and our personal belongings. I even stayed in the van until 7:45 in the morning on guard watch as a contingency to prevent this. After spending just two hours back in my hotel room, I came out to find the van broken into and gone. Nothing was left behind but broken glass.

With it, I lost roughly $40,000 worth of boutique gear that I had built up over the past 10 years. The van itself was $5000. The trailer was a rental. U-Haul says the trailer was insured, but, it’s capped at 5K, and theres no knowing if we could qualify.

This wasn’t just equipment to me. It was my life’s work, accumulated piece by piece over a decade.

I need to start replacing this gear by November 27 for my next tour. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward replacing what was stolen so I can restore the gear I rely on and recover from this loss.

Thankfully, the right person bought a majority of the stolen gear, and recognized it as ours thanks to the merch that was leftover. However that only covered 75 percent of the missing items. My personal belongings consisting of graphic design tools, electronics , lighting fx, one of my amps, a bag of backup fx pedals , all of the bass and guitar cabs, some of my recording gear, clothes, personal collectibles, and the tour manager’s van are still missing.

If you’re able to help, any donation would mean a lot to me and my touring support team. Even sharing this fundraiser would make an impact as we try to rebuild the stolen goods are still at large.
