COVID-19 and the War in Armenia

The COVID-19 and the war that started in September, 2020 and lasted for 4 months affected the economy of Armenia in a huge scope and left many people without food and shelter.
We realize the importance of being responsible especially for vulnerable groups of the society.
Our organization, “New Generation” Humanitarian NGO, that is devoted to its humanitarian principles, has been implementing humanitarian aid programs for people displaced from Artsakh, Armenian Soldiers and families in need..
On March 16th, 2020 Armenia declared state of emergency over coronavirus outbreak. Due to the announcement many stayed home. Elderly people and people with special needs (including people living with HIV) became more vulnerable due to the lack of possibility to do online shopping and due to their financial situation.
On September 27 of 2020, Azerbaijan launched large-scale military activities against Artsakh Republic. The Armenians of the community are uniting with all their efforts to resist the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan. Many soldiers returned wounded and many families lost their soldiers. A huge number of people of Artsakh were displaced and hosted in Armenia.
Taking into consideration the above mentioned there is an urgent ongoing need to provide a support to those in need.
With the collected money we will support the national program of Armenia to help those in need by distributing food and other necessary stuff to people with special needs (wounded soldiers, families of died soldiers, poor families, etc).
Every single dollar donated counts and will help a lot!
