Medical Mission to Haiti

For my spring break this year, my classmates and I will be traveling to Haiti with the organization “Stand Up to Poverty.”  We will be providing general, OB/GYN, dental, and vision services to patients who do not have access to medical services. Through this mission, we are working to bring sustainable solutions to a weak healthcare system by providing health care services and illness prevention services to some of the most underserved communities of the world.

Stand Up to Poverty is an non-profit humanitarian organization that believes everyone deserves a great quality of life and seeks to transform lives through education and empowerment. They address health services, education, housing, and infrastructure.
