Thick Thighs don’t always save lives...

March 12th, 2019 was supposed to be a normal day with a simple doctors visit for a silly annoying cough. That silly little cough turned out to be a result from there being over 40 cancerous nodules in my lungs which later lead me to learn they came from a 5X7inch tumor in the deepest part of my thigh. #ThickThighsDontSaveLives I was diagnosed with what’s called “Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma: Stage 4 cancer” Now over a year later I’ve embarked on 6 brutal inpatient chemotherapy treatments that not only wrecked my body but also my spirit. I had surgery in October of 2019 to remove the primary tumor! Yay! After the initial healing post surgery I began immunotherapy treatments that unfortunately did not get the job done and sadly allowed the nodules in My lungs to continue to grow quite a bit. During the spring of 2020 I had tried another Chemo remedy that also was not slowing down any of the nodule’s growth in my lungs and even more so, the cancer has begun to spread into other areas of my body and is effecting my kidneys. I am still unable to go to work and am very weak most days, the most physical I’ve been in months is walking my sweet doggie around a pound near our house. Simple house chores take more than twice the time to accomplish because I simply can’t keep up with myself. At 26 years old this is so frustrating and discouraging at the least! Though each day has its battles I am staying strong and pushing forward as hard as I can to still take full advantage of the amazing bit of life I do have remaining! Though it is unclear I have been informed that my time on this earth with my loved ones will come to an end sooner rather than later. Cancer has taken an unbelievable amount from me in this year but I’m still standing and fighting the fight because I won’t allow it to stop me from chasing my passions and laughing so hard my stomach hurts or loving those around me with my whole heart and experiencing all that I possibly can! Through vigorous pray and constant hope I truly believe God has shown His own kinds of miracles in this journey! His hand is in this and I believe His will be done! “Even if He does not” take this disease away. This GoFundMe account is to help me in this journey and process! these fund will help assist with some normalcy in life. Sometimes that can be achieved by some self love, or a trip to the park, or just grabbing a good movie! The simple things!! Along with that my significant other, our dog Daisy and I have officially bought an RV! We are beyond grateful for the support that has gone into being able to make this happen for us so that we can travel around the US with ease and with our fur baby all while in the coa fort of a home! Any funds towards support will be greatly appreciated in assisting us in being able to see and do as much as we can to experience all the amazing beauty this land has to offer! We both cherish traveling to our core and know this time will be beyond memorable and be the absolute best way to end my story! I want to say that I have appreciated all the support and help so far and not just in funds but in encouragement, prayers, assistances in traveling, meals being brought over, and even just quality time! All of it is cherished and taken to heart and of course not taken for granted! Please share if you can not only for myself but maybe to help bring more awareness to others about cancer!

Thank you all and God bless! ♥️
