Many of you may know my cousin, Peyton Cornwell, and the debilitating medical conditions she has had to face almost her entire life. She has had to endure many medical procedures over the years, and her latest included having to have a hepatic right lobectomy, which is removing the right side of her liver. The surgery itself went well, but other complications have resulted in a long hospital stay.

Peyton is resilient and strong, but she has a long road ahead of her towards recovery. Her parents, Jared and Amy, have had to make many sacrifices to ensure Peyton receives the care she needs, while also being there for their other two children.
