I am so sorry to acknowledge that my wife of 54 years will no longer be by my side. She will remain close to me in my heart and mind. Assistance in covering her funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated. She was a beautiful woman, teacher, deacon, wife and mother and will be sorely missed. For anyone interested in helping, I have set up a Go Fund Me for the funeral expenses or for anyone wishing to donate to Breast Cancer Research in her memory, Sloan Kettering was a particular favorite of hers. In any event your prayers
and care for Sharon's memory are appreciated.
UPDATE/ADDENDUM: THANK YOU! Your generosity has allowed us to meet our goal and I am amending the goal for this last week. Donations above he funeral cost will be applied to creation of a memorial brick garden here in St. Elmo. We do not have one. Sharon and I had talked about our community needing such a pretty local place where citizens could come for reflection and remembrance of family, friends and family pets who have gone before. If you would rather your donation go to breast cancer research please reach out to me and/or include the capital letters 'BC' at the end of your remembrance. I apologize for the lateness of this update but this idea only came to me with some clarity this weekend. Again, thank you for your care, prayers and generosity. It means a great deal to me and to our family. May God bless you.
