The December Rent Fund

We all have sad stories and go through hard times, and the last thing I ever wanted to do was ask for help and tell everyone my story especially during the holidays...but I'm desperate, so here goes nothing.

I injured my knee while caring for a patient at work. I needed surgery which workers compensation denied for 7 months and finally approved my  surgery,  which I had on October 6, 2014.

Workers comp pays a travel nurse $400 weekly, which has run out because I'm now cleared to work...however my work has decided that I have to re-apply,  re-interview, and jump through hoops to get my job back which I am doing, it's just not happening fast enough.

 I currently have no income, a puppy to feed, and rent and bills to pay.  This fund will allow me to pay rent for December so that I don't get evicted.
