Support Ellie's Journey to Recovery

Update Feb 15, 2025 -

Prior to being treated for the staph infection, the neurologist discovered a tumor pressing against her spine. Once tests show the infection she was treated for is indeed clear, surgery to have this tumor removed will be scheduled. Depending on how Ellie does, recovery will take at least a few weeks, but more likely a few months.

Until then, she is still going through rehab to walk on her own and get stronger. Unable to work, any financial assistance is greatly appreciated. It's been a long road so far, and she still has a ways to go.

I've known Ellie for probably about 20 years. She is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and hardest-working people I have ever met. She does anything she can to help out in any way she can. In August, she developed some health issues and ended up being hospitalized at Geisinger in Danville, for, among other issues, a staph infection running the length of her back.

While she is being released to go home on Oct 28, she still has a long road to recovery. It will be a while before she will be able to return to work. With no incoming income, she needs financial assistance with things like food, bills, expenses incurred for her recovery, and so on.

As someone who has given so much to so many people, I want to do what I can to help her get back on her feet again.
