My name is Clarke Evans. I am a junior Biology major at Xavier University of Louisiana located in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am currently studying for the MCAT and making preparations to apply for medical school. I was presented with the opportunity to apply for a program in Haiti that is a medical apprenticeship that will enable me to serve those in Haiti and gain experience in the medical field. This is the experience of a life time and it is a dream of mine to actually be able to do this. I have the support of my mom who is a single parent, so I'm going to need as much help as I can get.
