SUPPORT THE FAMILY OF DAVID MILAM

David, a young father, was suddenly and tragically killed last week in Thurmont, Maryland. As a self-employed handy-man, money was often tight and there never seemed to be enough extra to put toward life insurance or savings. Sonya, the mother of the children, Kyle and Changmi, has always been a stay-at-home mom and does not drive.

Now, with no savings, no insurance money for burial expenses and no source of income, she is faced with an extremely serious situation. She must find a way to provide for her fatherless children while also grieving and trying to process the loss of David.

We are appealing to family, friends, and colleagues to make a donation in lieu of flowers.  Your contributions will help defray funeral expenses and start a savings account to cover critical living expenses such as food, medicine and rent until a plan and resource aid can be obtained to sustain this devastated family.

The pain of losing a loved one and a father is life altering.  No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from and wonder if they will be put out on the street for their inability to pay rent.

We also appeal to compassionate folks that may be reading this on GoFundMe. It takes time to put the pieces of life in place and for support resources to become effective. This appeal must raise enough to sustain them for several months.
