My brother, Keith

On 1/23/23 my brother was diagnosed with Acute B-Lymphomablastic Leukemia. He was sent to Duke University Hospital in Durham NC for treatment. Due to all of this he has had to quit his job and go on disability which we all know that doesn't pay that much but it's better than nothing. He had insurance with a high deductible where he worked but due to him having to quit work. He went on his wife's insurance with a high deductible to have to meet. Now 2024 another high deductible to meet. Insurance doesn't cover everything. His wife is having to missed work caring for him and trips back and forth to Duke. They have applied for financial assistance but keep getting told we make too much money to qualify. Medicare doesn't kick in till 2025. So they have alot of medical bills that have started to add up. My brother would never ask for any help from anyone that's just the person he is. I'm asking for help for him. He still has a long road ahead of him.
