Thank you for taking the time to visit my Fundraiser.
Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of ANY mental illness. This fundraiser is to help get me to the highest level of care in the world that is out of network with my insurance (that is over $600/ month alone).
I’ve been fighting it for 16 years and up until the pandemic, I was managing it, functioning, working, living life as normal as I could with the eating disorder thoughts always being there. At 88 lbs I don’t know what else to do than continue to ask for help to get to the highest level of care.
Many of you are Photography clients of mine, and I want nothing more than to get back to doing what I love - creating memories for you and your families for years to come.
I had fears about doing this and sharing my story, but it’s time for the stigma for mental health to be smashed. It shouldn’t be taboo. This has reached a point of life or death and I honestly don’t care who judges or has opinions or I wouldn’t be publicizing this.
It doesn’t mean I don’t value privacy, I just think everyone should be able to share where they’re at. I’m all for positive vibes only, and hate to be a source of negative energy, but I simply need help.
Currently the average wait period for a spot is 2-4 weeks, if not longer. I’m on multiple waiting lists. My health is declining but I’m doing the best I can outpatient. I’m currently 5’5.5” @ 88 lbs. As badly as I want to give up I’m not done fighting.
I want to beat this and I want to live so much so that I’d give an arm if it meant I was healed.
Any contribution big or small is appreciated, even simply sharing this link is HUGE. Especially if you know individuals that may be able to help, sharing counts as donating in my opinion.
What are you donations going towards? Medical bills, current/ continued treatment, feeding tube, and most importantly the cost to cover the highest level of care in the world needed/ recommended by doctors at ACUTE Denver. They will not admit patients unless they meet criteria, in other words “sick enough”, as horrible as that is. It is out of network with my insurance and I would owe $9,500 up front and would be billed at least $20,000. Any contribution is appreciated more than you know and gets me one step closer to being able to go.

ACUTE is the first and only specialized medical stabilization program of its kind providing life-saving medical care for adolescents and adults ages 15 and older who are suffering from the medical complications of severe eating disorders. There is no other center or facility in the nation equipped to offer the same level of specialized expertise.
