Hayden Joseph Miller Emerging Artist Grant

Hayden Joseph Miller (April 26, 1999 - July 8, 2019)

Hayden Joseph Miller was so many wonderful things.

From goofy older brother to lifelong best friend to loving son, he made a positive impact on everyone around him through his sheer joy and creative spirit. In honor of the artist, drummer, producer, writer, singer, rapper, sound engineer, and wearer of so many hats, we’re proud to engage with our community as a means to source funds for a grant in which we will award to one young emerging artist from Lyon County.

Our grant will be crowd-sourced through GoFundMe, a corn hole tournament, and reoccurring "Needle Drop" nights. All proceeds received will go toward funding a local "emerging" artist on an upcoming project, upon reception of this grant, we will work with the recipient to provide a community space to exhibit, premier, etc. the project in which funding was used!

Applicants 20 years or younger located in Emporia or Lyon County are eligible to apply for the Hayden Joseph Miller Creative Grant. More details and a message from the Miller family coming soon!
