Urgent Help Needed for Rent Payment

I wish I had a reason, but I don’t. I’m someone who is struggling to pay rent.

My partner and I live in a 600-700 sq ft studio (that costs $1600) and we are struggling a bit to pay for our studio that sadly has been really difficult on us. We’re moving out and already paid for our new apartment to finally move in, but our old one slapped us in the face with a 60-day notice that we were supposed to sign, but supposedly we never did. I recall that I did, but according to them, I didn’t. Which sucks now because sadly I have no proof of it, and sadly it’s my fault on my end now.

Now we have to pay this upcoming month's rent (a total of $1800…), and if we don’t do it before September 3rd, they’ll be adding late fees and we can get in trouble. I don’t like asking for money, and I’m embarrassed to admit it, but this will help us tremendously if we get the money. I currently only have $400. I’m saving the rest for our new apartment that we’re moving into on September 4th.
