A Local Family is in need of Prayers their Daughter Mandy a Friend of our Son John Paul who is a Good Friend/Classmate of 3 years his at Whitney High School has been in the Hospital for the past few days. On Christmas Day John Paul found a post from a friend of hers asking for Prayers John came to us in tears... She was ill for a few days her Mom had asked her if she needed to go to the Doctor days prior she told her mom she had studying for finals & that she did not need to go in. Mandy started vomiting with a headache and then became lethargic they rushed her to the ER at Sutter Roseville. They found swelling in her head & From there she was transported to Downtdown Sutter Pediatrics ICU. She is in Critical Conditon for the next 10 days she will be receiving a Plasma Treatment no one not even her family will be able to see her during this time.They are saying she has Encephalitis

 I had called Sutter on Christmas Day letting the nurse know how Mandy was & if the Family needs anything John Paul wanted me to find out what was wrong. Christmas Evening the Aunt contacted me Thanking us & telling me how Thankful they were about how concerned we were. As a Mother of three kiddos this so heartbreaking... Today Mandy's Mom called in tears & sobbing said please just ask for everyone & to let their churches know to Pray for Mandy...Tears Tears Tears I feel so bad for the Family they have been out of work to be there & money is very tight. The one thing she said they need is Groceries they do have other children. I know they need a lot more than that so PIease help the Family so they can just focus on Mandy.
