Howdy yall! My name is Roxy and I'm married to a super handsome military man named CJ. We have four beautiful babies together and are currently on opposite sides of the planet. :-( We are raising money for a plane ticket home for Christmas so that CJ can meet his son for the first time and be home for the holidays. We will need to purchase his ticket ASAP since Christmas is next week (holy cow! NEXT WEEK?!) We will forever be in debt to those who help us bring him home for Christmas. Thank you so much! If you'd like to read our story keep scrolling down ;-)
Our story begins this past Spring. We were preparing for our move to CJ's new duty station in Japan. We had just foud out we were pregnant with our fourth and were so excited for this move.

With all things military, it's a bunch of hurry up and wait. There were many different types of paperwork to fill out and get signed since this was our first move. We needed to get passports, get medically cleared, get area cleared...and the list goes on. Since our children had been to doctors in Houston and in San Diego, our paperwork was everywhere. It's hard enough to make appointments for yourself, but to add three little ones to the mix is just crazy! There was a point in time where we had at least two or three appoitments every week not including my prenatal appointments which were an hour away because I'm crazy and I LOVED seeing the same midwife for all four of my babies. haha Anyways, we finally gathered all their paperwork and got it turned in to get medically cleared. The guy in charge of screening was hinting to us that I may not be able to fly since I was already 6 months pregnant and the paper work would take awhile to be approved.
Well our paper work took a lot longer to be approved than we expected! Our son, Blaise, has a small foot deformity that held up this process. His last two toes on his right foot are fused together.

The military required that we saw a specialist before we moved out to Japan to make sure that if we did need medical attention for his foot, there would be doctors out there to help us. By this time, I was already 7 months pregnant. My 'no later than' date to fly was fast approaching and we hadn't been medically cleared yet. CJ and I had to make a decision for the betterment of our family. We decided for CJ to go ahead and fly to Japan without us and we would meet up after I had the baby.

Me and the kiddos got in a car with my parents and drove for three days back to Houston where I could get the help I needed while CJ was away. That's three kiddos all 4 years and under and a VERY pregnant lady! God bless my parents for putting up with us! haha Shortly after we had arrived (like not even two weeks) I had our son, Raphael. CJ was able to FaceTime us and was able to see his baby being born! What a blessing technology can be!

Since then, I have been on top of our paper work to get us to Japan as soon as possible! We are all medically cleared to leave. We are in the process of getting area cleared. In January, Raphael will get his passport. Soon after that we can schedule our flight out to Japan!
CJ just informed me (like today, ha!) that he would be able to come home for Christmas! However, we don't have the funds to bring him home to meet his baby boy for the first time and be with his family during the holidays. Since we are a one income family with four little ones, money is always tight, especially during Christmas and most especially on such a short notice! Someone (thanks Brittany!) suggested I start one of these pages up to help with the cost of his ticket. If we could get him home for Christmas, I would be forever grateful. He has already missed so much since he's been away. Our son Max's first day of school, our youngest son's birth, other birthdays, Thanksgiving. It would truly be a blessing to have him home. ALSO... he'd be home for his birthday if we could get him a ticket. His birthday is December 31 and will be turning the big 30!
The goal amount is the cost of his ticket to fly home from Japan to Houston.
If the money isn't met, it will go towards the funds to bring him home eventually! Can you imagine me with four tiny humans on a plane to Japan by myself with no help?! Me neither! hahahahahaha He will come home to pick us up eventually, but I'm not sure on that date quite yet. Possibly this Spring...but with the military, you never know!
If we somehow exceed the goal, the money will go towards our travel funds to California. We were based out of California, so the military pays for our flight to Japan from California. However, since we moved back home to Houston, the military will not pay for that flight. We will have to pay for 6 tickets to California as well as CJ's ticket from Japan to Texas so that he can help us move to Japan.
Thank you for reading up to this point! haha and again THANK YOU SO MUCH for your generosity! <3
