Six months ago, little Onyx saved us—just as we saved him.
Onyx was rejected by his mother, and his breeder fought to keep him alive with bottle feeding and endless care. At the same time, our husky Luna was going through deep grief after losing her puppy and became severely depressed.
When Onyx and Luna met, it was love at first sight. He brought her joy for life back—and healed our entire family. There was never any doubt that he would stay with us. Since then, he has been an incredibly loving, happy, and truly wonderful little dog.
But today, we received heartbreaking news. After X-rays, we learned that one of the bones in both of Onyx’s front “wrists” has stopped growing, while the other continues. This causes his front legs to grow unevenly, leading to pain that will only worsen if nothing is done.
For Onyx to live a long, happy, and pain-free life, he needs surgery as soon as possible. The operation, along with rehabilitation for both legs, comes with a significant cost that we unfortunately cannot cover on our own.
That is why we are now asking for your help.
Every contribution—big or small—means the world to us and brings us closer to giving Onyx the care he so desperately needs.
If you are unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this means just as much.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us give Onyx a chance at a good life ❤️
