Lending A Hand to Help Brandon Ortega with Medical Expenses

My name is Karissa and I am Brandon’s step daughter and our family would like to try and help my parents during this difficult time. On March 22nd Brandon was sent to the Sacred Heart ER in Spokane for a possible abscess that burst and put him at risk for sepsis. He had to have an emergency surgery that was around 5 hours long and was admitted for around a week. There were some complications and he has found himself back in the hospital where he has been the last several days. He is doing okay but this has been such a long and stressful time for my parents and he still has a long road ahead. They have so much to worry about and it has been financially draining for them as well. I’m creating this fundraiser with the hopes that my step dad can focus on his healing with one less thing to worry about. Don’t feel obligated, but any little bit helps. Update Monday 4/8:

Brandon had another surgery today and it went well. The Doctors are hopeful this will hopefully be the last. Fingers crossed he will be going home soon

Update Thursday 4/11

Brandon is home and doing so much better! Now it’s just the long journey to healing a head for him!

Update Saturday 4/13:

Brandon had to go back to the ER early this morning at 3am. There has been another complication and as soon as a bed opens up at Sacred Heart he will be transported there. Currently we are unsure how long he will be there for.
