Help me keep my Husband Sean alive

Hello my name is Eileen.

I'm here at my wits end after numerous attempts and misdiagnosis for my husband Sean, who is 58 and currently not eaten in last 22 days. (15/12/24)

Sean was diagnosed in 2019 with an unknown virus, but after losing several jobs due to memory issues, we got his medical record which now stated he had meningitis.

Sean was diagnosed with Aggressive frontal lobe dementia due to undiagnosed meningitis and went to see a neurologist.

He said he didn’t have it as bad and that it’s not that big deal.. like depression

now we thought we was going to this appointment for a care plan not to hear that he didn’t have it..

My husband shut down.

22 days no eating

8 999 calls ( only 3 came )

19 hospital and mental health combined in 5 weeks

30+gp appointments since 2019

all let him go as his vitals are fine

Sean was 19 stone he now weighs 12st 1

losing the majority of weight in last 3 months.

we have pushed and pushed and pushed for a pet scan but we are not getting anywhere, and my husband is dying and slowly losing his abilities to function. leading to him collapsing

My husband marched for the NHS all his life

My husband is a very proud man an amazing husband father and grandfather and goes the extra mile for everyone around him including the 30 years spent rescuing animals.

please help me to find out what’s happening with him before it’s too late

we are hoping to raise funds for private scans as the nhs one will mean he will be without food for 45 days

Watching the man i fell in love with 40 years ago, a man who lived a good life providing for anyone and watching him slowly deteriorate after last few months, i’m so Sorry to say he won’t make it to that appointment.
