Hi, my name is Ashley Shinliver. I'm a sophomore in high school and have been playing the oboe for about four and a half years. In addition to being a member of our high school band, my other accomplishments include being a member of Houston Youth Symphony for two years, the TMEA Region Band for three years, and TMEA Region Orchestra for two years. I was top in my area for the past two years and this year earned a place in the Texas All-State 5A Band.

This year, I've been presented with an exciting opportunity to visit Switzerland and participate in the Goppisberger Music Festival and Academy for three weeks during the summer of 2015. Since I began to study oboe in 6th grade, it quickly became my passion. This trip is an amazing opportunity to study under some accomplished musicians and with others who share my same passion.

I need to raise $4000 to fund my trip (to cover the tuition and part of the airfare). Any donation would be much appreciated.
