Alby the Dog's Emergency Care

Donation protected

Alby the Wonderdog is 12. And is now diabetic. We didn't know that until a few nights ago when he started throwing up constantly and we took him to the emergency pet clinic (on a Sunday, of course). They kept him overnight and brought his blood sugar down from the 600s down to a (still high) 160 as of today (Nov 19, 2014). He's going to be okay, but will now require daily insulin shots and a special diet (about $50/month).

The big expense, however is the $2200 in vet bills for the past weekend. And if I wasn't (essentially) unemployed for the past 23 months, this would be easier. But I don't have the ready funds for this. So any offset would be great. Like $5. Well, plus the 8% that this site takes. lol. I'm hoping to raise the vet fees, and a small buffer to pay for some of the insulin, and food. And when that happens I'll take this down. And if I score an excellent job in the next couple of months, I'll do the same.

But how about this? If you donate a bunch - like $30 or more, I'll send you a Sound & Fury DVD of one of our shows. They're funny, and they make people laugh. You like to laugh, right?
