HITT Factory Fitness Gym - COVID-19 Relief Fund

Donation protected
HITT Factory is a local gym in the Tri Valley Area of Northern California that has been adversely impacted by the mandatory gym closure due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.  Paul Rubio, owner of HITT Factory, has been trying to stay positive. He pivoted to providing free online workouts for the community to help support his members' health and fitness goals while keeping them motivated through this challenging time.

These funds will be used to help the gym stay open and continue providing free online courses even as active memberships decline.  Keeping the gym open includes paying rent, equipment loans, subscriptions, website costs, payment processing fees, etc . for both the Pleasanton & Livermore locations.  In addition, Paul is also looking to launch a new 1:1 personal training program to provide a more catered experience for remote members while allowing the gym's trainers to continue to generate income for their children and families.

I've seen and felt the ups and downs of being part of a small gym business, and to see what Paul Rubio & his family have gone through to keep this business running while still donating to the community and putting everything they have behind it's trainers and members to help them succeed is truly inspiring.  Even through this difficult time there are many members still standing behind Paul and the gym because of who he is and the product that he provides.  It's different, it's effective & it's rewarding.  The trainers are also sticking with Paul even though he can't currently find the work and funds to pay them.

Paul would be immensely grateful to have this support.  He has put his heart & soul into this business and gives everything he has to support this community, the gym's members, his kids & family.  The first thing he asked me when the shelter in place announcements came out was, "how can we put our classes online to help  our members continue to achieve their fitness goals?" To know why I admire his tenacity please read this article: https://patch.com/california/pleasanton/from-bullied-to-boxer.  This article reminds me daily that helping him and HITT Factory is a worthwhile cause.

I pray that everyone out there stays safe & healthy with much mahalo!
