Hi, my name is Mamiko and I run a small café in Cardwell, North Queensland.
I met Keisuke just a few days ago while he was travelling through our area.
Just two weeks ago, Keisuke arrived in Australia with a dream.
At 31, this was his final chance to experience a working holiday — and he chose to make it unforgettable by walking from Cairns to Melbourne, hoping to discover the country, meet new people, and embrace every moment along the way.
In such a short time, he had already connected with so many kind people and was deeply grateful for every encounter.
Then, everything changed.
Keisuke was involved in a devastating hit-and-run accident. The driver fled, leaving him seriously injured. He has since undergone emergency surgery and now faces a long road to recovery.
Alone in a foreign country, without family by his side, Keisuke is not only battling physical pain but also the emotional and financial stress that comes with it.
We are raising funds to support his recovery — from medical expenses to daily living costs while he heals.
If you’re able to help, even a small amount can make a real difference. And if not, simply sharing his story would mean the world.
Let’s come together to support Keisuke, and help him one day continue the journey he started with so much hope.
※Funds will be received by me and transferred in full to Keisuke, as he does not have an Australian bank account. I will provide an update once the transfer is completed.※
