Hit and Run resulting in brain injury

Donation protected
My son was walking to the bus for work Monday morning after Easter when he was hit by a car. The driver fled the scene and left Sean on the side of the road with severe trauma to his entire body, face and brain.  Sean underwent surgery to release pressure on his brain from bleeding. He is expected to need a few more surgeries including one for his leg and another for his facial repairs.  Sean is a kind man who put himself through college and recently moved to CO where he was making a start for himself. He needs money to cover his rent and other costs while recovering so that he is not evicted from his apartment while trying to recover. I am with him now and hope to stay with him until my family leave runs out. Please consider helping me help my son during this unfortunate time in his life. He wants to remain independent but I fear that if he is not able to retain his apartment he will need to return home and start saving all over again to make a move back out into an independent life. Wow son, this is a set back for you that none of us could have foreseen. I am glad they caught the driver who hit you but have serious concerns for your new home town as the police told me there were nine hit and run accidents that morning alone when they were trying to help me help you. Please help Sean and I keep his home intact while he fights to recover from this crime.
