Hit & Run - Opie’s Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Emily and I am fundraising for my brother and sister in-law, Justin and Grace, (Opie’s parents) to assist in covering Opie’s medical bills from a hit and run on the evening of 8/12.

Opie was hit by a pick up truck near 12th Ave S in Moorhead, MN shortly after 10pm on 8/12. He suffered a broken arm (both bones above the wrist), large laceration above his eye, and other road rash type scrapes and bruises. He spent the night at the emergency vet while they worked to stabilize him, get clear pictures of his arm, and stitch up his eye.

The bill is already in the thousands before the surgery. The estimate is over $10,000 right now. Anything helps whether it is a donation or even information on the vehicle and owner of the vehicle that hit him. I will keep this page updated as we find out more.
