Hit and Run equals Destroyed Bike

Hello! A former student of mine, Asa Drake was riding his new E-Bike on Cedar street when he was hit by a large white truck, which promptly fled the scene. Though Asa was able to jump off and avoid injury, his 4 month old electric bike, his only form of transportation, was mangled. The police are involved and are looking for the perp.

Big Sky Cycling looked at the bike and indeed confirmed that it is totaled. They have offered to hook him up with a new, better bike at a discount ($1300). Again, this bike was his only form of transportation. He is a hard working young man, who finished his high school credits early and works at Bad Betty's BBQ. He saved enough money to buy the bike on his own.

Anything you could do to help this young man get back on wheels would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!
