Campaign to Save Savannah's Kiah Museum Building

Donate today to help save the 1910 Kiah House Museum building - an important piece of historic  Black Savannah.

Your contribution will help the non-profit African Diaspora Museology Institute (ADMI) to prevent the demolition of the 1910 Kiah House Museum building and secure its official landmark status in Savannah’s historically Black Cuyler-Brownsville neighborhood.

Named a 2021 Place in Peril by the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, this building housed one of the first Black-founded museums in Savannah, created by Dr. Calvin and Virginia Kiah. Your donation will be used to fund urgent maintenance, legal and academic efforts required to (1) prevent this site’s demolition, (2) obtain city landmark status, and (3) prepare it for a dedicated buyer to purchase and restore the site.
