His/Hers - CSUN CTVA Senior Thesis

Donation protected
His/Hers is a Cal State Northridge (CSUN) Senior Thesis Television Pilot that will be going into production on April 14th 2017. The project is the brainchild of an eclectic group of highly motivated and highly ambitious senior television majors.

His/Hers follows two protagonists, Guy and Izzy. Guy is a recovering alcoholic with mommy issues and a sprinkling of OCD and Izzy is a manic flight risk. Seems like the perfect set-up for a love story, right? The series follows our characters from the moment they meet until the moment they break up, with each episode being named after classic film jargon. The pilot episode will be called the “The Meet-Cute,” and episodes to follow will be called everything from “The Inciting Incident,” to “The Climax,” — and we all know THAT is going to be one hell of an episode.

With the guidance of our professors and mentors at CSUN, we endeavor to make a 10-minute television pilot for our senior thesis which will also aid us in presenting our film reel to apply to jobs after graduation and become ‘reel’ (see what I did there) adults. This project will also be shown at the CTVA Television showcase in May 2017. But we need your help if we’re going to succeed in making this film.

Now, I know what you’re thinking…a bunch of kids are asking for money — how annoying and how audacious. But just give me a second of your time to convince you otherwise:

There is a common opinion nowadays that our generation, the generation of millennials, are unambitious and have no drive to go out into the world and achieve their dreams. But I’m presenting eight millennials who are coming to you humbly to ask for your help in proving the world wrong about us. We are driven and ambitious, but there is only so much we can do without your help.

Any donation — no matter how small helps more than you know.

Your donations will go to the following:
