Our beloved Rocio Araujo recently passed on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Rocio was a wonderful daughter, sister and aunt who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a mother, brother and a sister and four nephews.
Rocio dedicated her life to serving her community with HISD Police Department. She enjoyed mentoring students within her HISD alumni community. Rocio also enjoyed being an aunt to her four nephews.
We are all devastated by Rocio’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Rocio the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Rocio’s funeral. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.

Nuestro querido Rocío Araujo pasó recientemente el miércoles 16 de diciembre de 2020. Rocío era una hija maravillosa, hermana y tía que tocaba la vida de los que la rodeaban. Ella deja detrás de una madre, un hermano, una hermana y cuatro sobrinos.
Rocío dedicó su vida a servir a su comunidad en el Departamento de Policía de HISD. Ella disfrutó la tutoría de estudiantes dentro de su comunidad de antiguos alumnos de HISD. Rocío también disfrutó siendo tía de sus cuatro sobrinos.
Todos estamos devastados por la pérdida de Rocío y no estábamos preparados para el alto costo de un funeral. Queremos dar a Rocío el monumento que merece, para honrar su memoria y decir nuestras últimas despedidas.
Actualmente pido donaciones para ayudar a cubrir el costo del funeral de Rocío. Por favor, considere la posibilidad de donar, ya que cualquier cantidad ayudará realmente a nuestra familia en estos momentos difíciles.
