In October of 2023, Lavonia and Tramaine Hasty’s lives came crashing down, when Tramaine, at just 45 years old, was diagnosed with colon cancer. Shortly after his diagnosis, they were given the news that his colon cancer had metastasized into bone, liver and lung cancer. This battle with cancer has been not only emotionally and physically taxing, but also financially for them both. Tramaine was forced to leave a thriving career and shortly after, the medical bills started flowing in. This GoFundMe will go directly to the medical costs of Tramaine’s battle with cancer. When someone is fighting for their lives, they should not have to also fight to keep their home, and they should never have to decide between paying for chemo, or paying for their utilities.
