Hiroko SELFLESS Dog lover fallen on hard times

Hi Everyone. My name is Hepi; you may know me as Baxter and Cybele's mom. I am raising funds to save the life of a 67-year-old selfless dog lover.

 

Many of you may know Hiroko, the Japanese lady who would go around Central Park with a doggie stroller loaded with 2-3 Maltese. She has a limp, and she would generously treat every dog in the park with freeze-dried salmon. I got to know her better because a few years back, she was wrongfully accused of attempted dognapping with posts on FB, and I stepped in to defend her reputation. Those days she had a 2nd job helping someone in my building. Her main job was with some lady on CPS who owned the Maltese.

 

A few days ago, I heard Hiroko has fallen on rough times and is starving and lost weight, which is hard to imagine since she was so thin. I immediately contacted her. It turns out she lives in a windowless basement room in Astoria, there was a fire in her building, water flooded her apt. she got very sick and couldn't continue working, and of course, she has no health insurance.

 

In all the years she worked hard, Hiroko spent her meager pay on the 3 Maltese, buying them food and treats and feed all the dogs that approached her in Central Park, and we all know word travels fast among our park dogs.

 

Hiroko, very ill now, has no savings, no means of paying her rent or buying groceries, while unable to collect any government benefits because of her status here (I am hoping to find a solution to that issue as well).
