Hi, my name is Claudia Cardona Ramos, and I am Hipolita's granddaughter. She, unfortunately, passed away at 7 pm on November 5th, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent her entire life as a stay-at-home mom and raised her grandchildren. She was always very humble and would say she "may not be able to repay you, but God will" for something as simple as giving her lunch. She will be deeply missed. As some may know, she suffered a stroke that left her right side paralyzed in May 2022 and has declined since then. I was by her side every day for the past three months, and it has not been easy to accept her loss, as every small thing reminds us of her. She fought a good fight and gave us hope for recovery, but ultimately God called her home. My family and I struggle to accept her loss, but we know she deserves a proper goodbye. We are asking for donations to help our family with the funeral and cemetery expenses, and as she would say, "May God repay your kind hearts."
