I need another surgery on my hip! The bone is crumbling and unless it is repaired and the prosthesis replaced, I may never walk again. Three surgeries and 10 months after my fall in February, I am in a great deal of pain and my leg is almost 2 of inches shorter due to bone loss.

The prosthesis will  cost 292,000 pesos ($4,000) and the surgeon will be another 100,000 pesos ($2.000). Blood is about $100 per unit and I just received four..the doctor wants three more on hand. And there are a bunch of expensive tests I will need before surgery, as well.

If I'm lucky. I will only need one more surgery,  but if my bone is inflected,  the surgeon will remove the existing prosthesis, repair the bone and leave me unable to walk for three to six months. Then I will need a  fifth surgery to put in a new prosthesis so I can walk again!

I find it very difficult to ask for help, and I truly appreciate any help I receive.
