Hello everyone,

We wanted to provide an update on out mother’s condition. her knee replacement surgery went well and she is currently undergoing physical therapy. In the next few months, when her therapy is done, she will need to have the current prosthesis removed from her left hip and then have a total hip replacement with a new prothesis. She has been in pain for a long time and her life has gradually deteriorated every day, both physically and emotionally but she, and our whole family, are very thankful for all of the prayers and support we have been shown. In her own words, she feels like she is starting to get her life back.

Maria Elsa does not have insurance nor financial means to cover the expense of surgery, recovery or rehabilitation and is desperate for help. Her doctor say that every day these procedures are delayed means an increased risk of further injury and a good chance she will lose the ability to walk at all. Anything you care to give will be a great help and greatly appreciated and every dollar will go to her medical expenses.
