Hinton/Babb Expenses for family

Donation protected
This campaign is for Penny and Randy Hinton (the parents of Halee) And Dillon and Halee Babb.
Halee has now been sick for several months. Please read on for the whole story.

We need your help... For friends and family that know any of us... you know we believe strongly in families that stick together... Good times and bad... We have each other's back., try our best to help others and typically will not ask for help...Pride can be something that we all have to push back from time to time.. No one likes to ask for help... We would all like to do it on our own. However, sometimes...you get to a place where.. You just have to ask for help... That is why we have created this campaign.. Pride cannot pay the bills when work has been missed and pride cannot pay for airfare and needed  funds to live day to day when your household is short one pay check.. AND... You will always need your MOM. It does not matter if you are 2, 22, or 102... Your mom by your side, brings comfort, strength, peace, a will to fight and love.

With that being said... Here is why we need help.

Halee has a hole in her heart that was found when she was 6 weeks old.  At the age of 13 she got very sick . After a very long process and many doctors and her being admitted to the hospital, it was determined she had endocarditis. (An infection in her heart) She went through quite a lot, but thankfully she came through.

Fast forward 10 years... She is now a newlywed living in Alaska with her husband.

And a couple of months ago, she began getting sick  again.... The doctors were not sure what was wrong, but tests after tests were ran. May be gallbladder, maybe this, maybe that... All the while Halee got sicker. She couldn't eat and was not keeping down what she did eat... Had a persistent cough, and overall felt horrible. Call/texts were constantly made between Halee and Dillon to her parents, Penny and Randy  and others in the family to communicate what was being said and done... Halee was losing weight and finally hospitalized.

Finally it was determined  that once again she had endocarditis.  While always small framed, she was now down to  87lbs, sick, tired, frustrated and scared and like all of us would, wanted her mom by her side.  A flight was booked (mom's first flight ever) and paid for to get her to Alaska to be there for her baby girl.  Finally,  Penny made it to Alaska and to Halee's hospital room.  Within a week or so of Penny being with Halee and Dillon at the hospital, it seemed things were improving... Antibiotics seemed to be helping the  infection and  Halee was feeling better and finally able to go home.  She began eating and gaining weight and seemingly doing good.

Penny's return flight was already booked and so she headed home.

By the time Penny returned home, Halee's Fever had returned and she was feeling terrible again.
She was placed back in the hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia and pleurisy.  Now In pain, back in the hospital and her parents feeling helpless over 3,000 miles away.
So after many texts, calls and tears... Halee needed her mom... So another flight was found, and we came together as a family to find a way to get her there.

Penny got to Alaska with Halee and Dillon.  Halee  still in the hospital, has had numerous antibiotics, fluid on her lungs, drawn off some with a needle and it has  been determined to have some kind of bacteria in the fluid.  Also a chest tube has been placed to drain fluid.

After talking with the doctors,  they are sending her to another hospital in Washington. Which means Penny will be needing to book a flight to Washington.  Randy, Halee's dad, cannot fly due to severe panic attacks and anxiety. He wants to see and be there for her as well. So when  Halee is moved to Washington, He wants to go there, but... driving there is his only option, so it will take gas, food and hotel stay for him and their son Cade.

At the moment Randy and the rest of the family are still in South Carolina... Their household is now short a paycheck and bills still have to be paid.

While none of us are destitute, we all have households to provide for, We as a family, are working to help, but as much as we would like, we can't pay another household of bills nor the full amount of airplane tickets.   So we are asking for help...
Friends and family, if you can help, with any amount, we will be grateful and appreciative of your help!!

All funds will be used to pay for Randy and Penny's household bills, help with the travel expenses , hotel stays necessary and will help Halee and Dillon with income lost during Halee's extended illness.

If you do not want to donate, or you cannot, we just ask for your Prayers.... We pray that we never run short of those from our family and friends.  Thank you in advance, however you choose to help!

Our family is in this to get this sweet girl healthy again!
