Hinkley Point A fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West

Each year at Hinkley Point A we select a charity to support through fundraising efforts on our site. This year, we are proud to nominate Children’s Hospice South West as our chosen charity.
Our fundraising activities range from coffee mornings to golf days, all aimed at raising as much as possible for these worthy causes.
Our goal this year is to raise sufficient funds to purchase a cuddle bed—a specially designed hospital-style bed that can expand to the width of a double bed. This bed allows loved ones to lie beside a patient during end-of-life care, providing closeness, comfort, and emotional support during these delicate moments. It enables families to share final hugs, hold hands, and simply be together.
I have established this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of HPA to engage friends, family members, colleagues, and members of the public who have already expressed a strong interest in supporting us in reaching our target.
