Hinderton Hop - A Sponsored Bounce
Donation protected
To celebrate funding a Gonge trampoline for every classroom, we are holding a sponsored bounce at Hinderton school for pupils.
Hinderton is a primary school for autistic children. In order to make this sponsored event accessible, it will be very informal, with pupils being able to hop, jump, move, or bounce in whatever way they like throughout the school day.
Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated. All money raised will be used to fund new 'choose' toys for all classrooms, and additional playground resources and activities. Choose toys are integral to classroom life at Hinderton, as they enable pupils to 'choose' a resource that is exciting and engaging just for them, in line with their interests and preferences. This helps support engagement with curriculum activities, as pupils 'work towards' their chosen resources, and take pride and joy in their accomplishments.
Access to a variety of accessible playground equipment is vital to encouraging movement breaks, turn taking, problem solving, and building muscle strength, and coordination. By throwing, running, rolling, jumping, pedalling, climbing, and playing, our pupils are constantly developing motor planning skills and learning to play in harmony with their peers.
Every child in every class will benefit hugely from this fundraiser.
Thank you for reading.
