Hinata's Airway Disorder Journey

Hi, we are the Mochizuki Family and we are raising funds to help our son on his long airway disorder journey. It all started shortly after he was born when he began choking on milk and struggling to breathe. He was diagnosed at two weeks old with Laryngomalacia and severe GERD. At two months old we discovered he was aspirating breastmilk and switched to thickened milk via bottle. He was failure to thrive at 4 months and finally had a supraglottoplasty at 5 months. After surgery, he was breathing better, but his dysphagia worsened and he developed a feeding adversion that we are still working through today. Now at 19 months, he has had three surgeries, countless procedures, numerous therapies and he is still struggling everyday. He is on an NG feeding tube and we are due to get a more permanet g-tube anyday (his fourth surgery). He still has feeding therapy once a week and sees many specialists. He is once again failure to thrive and we have learned that he also has tracheomalacia that is causing him to struggle to breathe again esspecially while sleeping (obstructive sleep apnea). He will need an MRI of his brain in the coming months to determine if there is an underlying neurological reason for his continued struggle to eat and swallow. He is on year plus long waitlists for autism evaluation and genetics.

We are coming to understand that this journey has just begun for our little Hinata, and are asking for help with past and future medical bills, therapies, medical equipment, medication, and help making ends meet (all of this has led to missing a lot of work).
