Teach Abroad in Himeji, Japan
Donation protected

About us:
We are a group of seven lucky teachers who have been chosen by Phoenix Sister Cities, a non-profit government organization, to teach English in Himeji, Japan. We will leave August 21st and spend up to two years immersed in the culture working with Elementary, Junior High, and High School students in addition to teaching English to the local adult community. Our goal is not only to experience and explore Japanese culture, but to also bring American and Arizonian culture to our students. We hope to inspire a love of learning English amongst our students and promote cultural understanding and unity in our classrooms through educational cultural exchange. By teaching English in Himeji we will be promoting and supporting cross-cultural connections and creating relationships that will last a lifetime.
How you can help:
By donating you will provide us with the means to offer our group of teachers the ability to buy school supplies, materials for cultural lessons and settling in fees.
We thank you so much for being able to contribute to this once in a lifetime opportunity!
