The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide capital to HIMD such that they are able to build a new safe house in Tanzania - one that is sanitary, comfortable, and up to a more humane standard, for these girls who have already suffered through so much trauma, and who all deserve an opportunity to fulfill their dreams. The current safe house, which has capacity for 15, houses 37 girls and 1 boy aged 15 - 21 who have escaped FGM, rape, and/or forced childhood marriage.
