In rural Nepal, thousands of children struggle to see the blackboard at school, read their books, or even recognize faces—all because of untreated vision problems. Something as simple as a pair of eyeglasses can change their future. In Nepal, studies show that over 10% of school-age children suffer from visual impairment, yet most have never had an eye exam due to lack of access to care. Our project is working to close this gap by bringing free vision screenings and eyeglasses directly to children in underserved rural communities.
