The past few months at the sanctuary have been incredibly difficult. The long Winter brought huge costs for hay and bedding, alongside rising vet bills, including some very expensive but necessary procedures. Our elderly donkeys have needed constant farrier care to help correct ongoing hoof issues, and caring for 160 rescued animals means the expenses never stop.

I always try my best not to ask for help, but right now I’m facing significant personal debt just to keep everything going. I’m truly grateful for any support given — it never goes unnoticed.

To get through the next month, I need to raise at least €1,000. I have several cats that urgently need neutering, and 20 donkeys and horses are due for farrier visits, on top of all the usual daily costs.
