In the fall of 2016, the Hillsboro Charter Academy opens its doors. It’s a free, public charter school, open to all residents of Loudoun County.

Our mission is to turn out the best and brightest in a new generation of Loudoun innovators and leaders. Hitting those heights requires that we supplement our public funds.

We ask that you donate in our inaugural year and be forever remembered for making a contribution to start this innovative school, and for investing in our next generation.

HCA is about a richer learning environment: The school will incorporate science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) into an immersive, project-based curriculum. It’s about individualized attention: Each child will have an individual learning plan that challenges them to new heights, in the security of small-class sizes. It’s about new resources: HCA will offer full-day kindergarten, in-house daily gifted lessons, and a summer enrichment program. It’s about community: The school sits in the small, rural Hillsboro community, and will incorporate the best of Loudoun’s resources and talent to enhance our program.

While we will be receiving public funds, we have a vision that requires additional investment. Moreover, public funds will not arrive until AFTER we open our charter doors. Your donation will allow HCA to recruit a principal and staff - now. It will help provide HCA students with books and instructional materials, software, musical instruments, and art supplies. It will enable us to provide teacher training, as well as after-school and summer enrichment programs.
