Hills vs Autism Celebrates 7 Years

In honor of Autism Awareness month in April 2012, I set out to make a difference and started my own 501c3 foundation to celebrate my brother Corey.  Growing up with an older brother who struggled with a developmental disability, it truly opened my eyes and made me realize that there was a need for socialization programs in the community for children and young adults with ASD.  I didn’t know back in 2012 what an impact the foundation would make. 7 years later, I feel truly blessed to be able to fund grants and celebrate all individuals and make a positive change in their lives.  Corey has taught me that anything is possible and any goal is achievable.  He is a source of inspiration and I am so proud of all his accomplishments.  When he graduated high school in June 2014, he had a quote written under his yearbook picture that read, “Don’t tell me I can’t do it, don’t tell me it can’t be done”.  If nothing else, he has lived by those words and taught me the true meaning of perseverance and he remains my role model and hero.

On Wednesday, July 17th, we will be hosting our annual Lacrosse Day for Autism. In honor of it being our 8th tournament and our 7th year making a difference, we have decided to launch a fundraising campaign. 100% of the net proceeds will go to help children and young adults within our communities. We cannot achieve our goals without your continued support. Your generous donations will help change the lives of many.

Note: All donations are tax deductible.
